Treasure Trackr ("we," "us," or "our") helps you discover food trucks, farmers markets, flea markets, and estate, garage, and yard sales near you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built Treasure Trackr to be genuinely useful — and we collect only what we need to make that happen.
Information We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- Location data. With your permission, we use your device's location to show sales and vendors near you and to power the live map and route planning. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings — the app still works, you'll just need to search by area manually.
- Account information. If you create an account or post a listing, we collect what you provide — such as your name or email and the details of the sale or vendor you're posting.
- Listings you create. Sales, markets, and vendor spots you post are shown publicly on the map so other users can find them.
- Usage data. Basic, non-identifying information about how the app is used (for example, which features are opened) so we can fix bugs and improve the experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Show you nearby food trucks, markets, and sales on the live map.
- Let you post your own listings and plan routes between stops.
- Send optional alerts about new listings in your area (only if you opt in).
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing Your Information
We don't sell or rent your personal data. We only share information in these limited cases:
- Public listings. Anything you post as a listing is, by design, visible to other users on the map.
- Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us run the app (such as hosting and map infrastructure) may process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements. If required by law or to protect the safety of our users, we may disclose information as necessary.
Your Choices & Rights
- Location. Grant or revoke location access anytime in your device settings.
- Notifications. Turn alerts on or off at any time.
- Your data. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address below.
- Delete your account. Contact us to have your account and associated personal data removed.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit what we collect in the first place.
Children's Privacy
Treasure Trackr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the app where appropriate.
